Pargetting
is the decorative plaster work that was often used as fill in between the timbers
of Timber Framing. At the farm we used red brick work instead. For several years
we tried to create an exciting textured, multi- patterned Aran to celebrate
this art form. So far that hasn't worked out. This fair isle version has been
created with Barb Taylor's knitting and artistry and, we hope, gives the same
idea!
